BEFORE INSTALLATION

Prepare the Cargo Area.

Remove loose cargo, existing trunk mats, and debris before installation. A clear cargo floor allows the liner to sit properly against the vehicle's contours.

STEP 01
CLEAR THE CARGO AREA

Remove Existing Cargo Mats.

Remove any existing carpet mat, rubber mat, liner, or loose cargo from the trunk or cargo area before installing your LinerX Cargo Liner.

Install the cargo liner directly onto the vehicle's cargo floor.
STEP 02
REAR
CHECK ORIENTATION

Identify the Correct Direction.

Before placing the liner in the vehicle, identify the front and rear orientation. The liner's contours should correspond naturally with the shape of your cargo floor.

STEP 03
POSITION THE LINER

Place the Cargo Liner Into Position.

Lower the liner into the cargo area and center it within the trunk. Allow the vehicle-specific contours and raised edges to settle naturally against the surrounding cargo area.

STEP 04
VEHICLE FEATURES

Align Around Factory Features.

Confirm that the liner sits correctly around applicable cargo hooks, tie-down points, seat tracks, sub-trunk openings, or other factory features designed to remain accessible.

STEP 05
ALLOW IT TO SETTLE

Let the Liner Relax Into Shape.

If your cargo liner arrived folded or slightly curled from shipping, place it flat in the vehicle and allow the material time to relax. Warmer temperatures can help the liner return to its intended shape.

STEP 06
FINAL FIT CHECK

Check Fit Before Loading Cargo.

Confirm that the liner sits flat, follows the cargo-floor contours, and does not interfere with hatch operation, folding seats, cargo doors, seat movement, or other vehicle functions.

IMPORTANT FITMENT CHECK

Make Sure Everything Operates Freely.

Your cargo liner should protect the cargo floor without interfering with normal operation of the vehicle.

01
Check Cargo Access
Make sure applicable storage areas and factory features remain usable.
02
Check Seat Movement
Verify folding or sliding seats operate properly where applicable.
03
Check Hatch Clearance
Confirm the hatch or cargo door closes normally without interference.
If the cargo liner does not fit properly or interferes with any vehicle function, remove it and contact LinerX Support for assistance.
