Follow these simple steps to position your LinerX floor mats, secure the retention points, and check the fit before driving.

Prepare your mats.
Unpack your mats and check their shape. If any areas are curled or bent from shipping, let the mats settle on a clean, flat surface at room temperature before installation.
Clean before installation.
Wash your mats with mild soap and water before first use. Rinse thoroughly and allow them to air-dry completely in a well-ventilated area before installation.
Prepare your vehicle.
Park on a level surface, engage the parking brake, and turn the vehicle off. Clear loose objects and debris from the footwells, then follow the installation steps below.
Start with a clear vehicle floor.
Remove factory carpet mats, rubber mats, liners, and any other removable floor coverings. Never install a LinerX floor mat on top of another mat.
Match each mat to its position.
Identify the driver, passenger, and rear mats. Check that each mat’s shape and contours correspond with its intended footwell before installation.
Position the driver-side mat.
Place the driver-side mat directly onto the vehicle carpet. Align its edges with the footwell and let the molded contours settle naturally into position.
Align and secure the anchors.
If your vehicle has factory floor-mat retention posts or anchors, align the corresponding mat attachment points and engage them completely. Gently move the mat by hand to check that it stays in position.
Check that every pedal moves freely.
With the vehicle parked and turned off, check the accelerator, brake, and clutch pedal if equipped. Verify that the mat does not obstruct normal pedal travel or return. Do not drive with a mat that interferes with any pedal.
Install the remaining mats.
Place the passenger and rear mats in their corresponding footwells. Check that each mat sits within the floor contours, and secure any applicable factory retention points.
Check before every drive.
The driver-side mat must stay in position and clear of the vehicle’s controls.
Correct position.
Secure fit. Clear pedals.
- No stacked mats. Install directly on the vehicle carpet.
- Retention points secured. Fully engage all applicable anchors.
- Pedals unobstructed. Check normal pedal movement and return.
If the fit is not right, remove the mat. If the driver-side mat shifts, cannot be secured, or interferes with any vehicle control, remove it and contact LinerX Support before driving.
A little care. A clean start.
Regular cleaning helps keep your mats looking their best. Remove loose dirt as needed, and wash away buildup with mild soap and water.

Release the retention points and lift out the mats. Shake off loose dirt away from the vehicle.
Wash & rinse
Clean with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
Dry
Allow the mats to dry completely before reinstalling.
Reinstall
Return each mat to its position, secure the retention points, and check pedal clearance.
Release first. Lift carefully.
Disconnect the applicable retention points before lifting. Keep the mat level as you remove it to help contain trapped water, dirt, and debris.
Secure and recheck.
Return each mat to its correct position and reconnect all applicable retention points. Check the driver-side mat for movement and pedal interference before driving.
